The patent-pending Checkthrough® Laptop Bag looks and functions like a high-end business case, but is designed and rigorously-tested to be "checkpoint-friendly," so you can run it through airport x-ray screening without removing your computer.*

Opens and hinges in the middle to separate and isolate the laptop compartment from the rest of the bag. For initial, immediate visual reference, the laptop can be seen through a clear, quick-recognition window that is exposed when the bag is unfolded. The design of the laptop compartment is such that the X-ray image presented to the screener is the same as if the laptop were removed and placed in a bin.

The Checkthrough bag and all of its contents can be carried securely with or without the hinge zipped shut, so it can be readied in line, prior to screening. Once through, simply pick up the bag and go, zipping it back up on the move or at the gate.

Designed primarily to hold all 15/15.4 inch laptops, most 16 inch, and many compact/slim 17 inch models will fit. Laptop section interior is 16” x 11” x 1.5” (for reference, a 17” Macbook Pro measures 15.4 x 10.4 x 1”)

Divided folder/file section, cargo pockets for metal detector items and durable, zippered clear pouch for allowable liquid (“3-1-1”) bottles, and more.

I've been sporting this bag for several months now. It is by far the best laptop bag I've ever owned. The bag is absolutely amazing at how much it can carry. I've been able to carry a 17" Macbook Pro, a 15" Asus G1, Canon Digital SLR, Sony HD Camcorder, Sony Point & Shoot camera, Logitech mouse, iPod Touch, iPhone 3GS, all cables and power adapters for above items, several magazines, a couple of books, and much more at one time. I highly recommend this bag. It is great.

I just returned from a trip and want to say how easy it was going through airport security. All I had to do was unzip my bag and send it through. No more hassle of having to take my computer out of the bag. There was a gentleman next to me that did not have a skooba checkpoint bag, I pointed out the unique features and I’m sure he will be ordering one soon.

I've been using one of these for a while now and it is great. Two nits; no bottle sleeve and the pad on the add-on shoulder strap tends to slide and curl up in use.
